CELEBRATED MURDER MYSTERY AUTHOR, SIMON BRETT, TO PERFORM AT ST MARY’S HOUSE, BRAMBER.

Simon Brett OBE, will be performing his hugely entertaining one man murder mystery play on Wednesday 24th June in the beautiful music room at St Mary’s House, Bramber. The performance will be followed by delicious fizz and cakes in St Mary’s House gardens. Tickets, price £30 including refreshments, from info@stmarysbramber.co.uk.

Simon Brett is the author, amongst other things, of five series of detective novels (Charles Paris, Mrs Pargeter, Fethering, Blotto & Twinks, and the Decluttering Mysteries).  As a writer and producer for TV and radio Brett produced the pilot episode of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, as well as many episodes of the comedy series The Burkiss Way, the comedy panel games I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue and Just a Minute and radio adaptations of Lord Peter Wimsey. He wrote several sitcoms, including BBC Radio 4‘s After Henry, No Commitments, Semi Circles and Smelling of Roses. 

In 2014 he was presented with The CWA Diamond Dagger from the Crime Writers’ Association for “an outstanding body of work in crime fiction”, one of the highest accolades in the crime writing world, and in 2016 was awarded an OBE ‘for services to literature’.
